Until when can you sign up for this service?
This web site will remain open for applications until Friday April 18, 2008 at 9:00am Eastern Standard Time. Shortly after that, all chometz to which we have access will be sold.
When will the chometz be bought back after Passover is over?
That depends where you live and where you will be. For individuals in the Eastern time zone and all points east (i.e., Atlantic Canada, Europe and Israel) the re-purchase will take place on Sunday April 27, 2008, at approximately 10:00pm Eastern Standard Time (which would mean, for instance, that individuals in Israel would have to wait until early in the morning of April 28 before making use of their chometz). Chometz in the Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones will be re-purchased approximately two hours after local sunset.
